Unicorn is often depicted in Medieval bestiary (collection of stories), as a white horse with a spiral horn on its forehead, that can live a thousand years. However, its aspect and personality varies according to the region where it was supposed to be seen. In the West, it was often depicted as wild and untameable; in the East, it was said to be a peaceful and gentle, bringing good luck.
